Valeria Vulpe

Valeria Vulpe is a London-based comedian. Born in the poorest country in Europe, as a child she had to learn the alphabet twice: first in Cyrillic, then in Latin. This is an injustice from which she has never recovered.
Her priority throughout her teenage years was emigration. She won a scholarship to study in the cornfields of the American Midwest, where she wrote the research paper “How to Fit a Triangle Inside Another Triangle”. Her work confirmed that it is helpful to have one triangle be slightly larger than the other.

She has been an investment banker and management consultant, and has collected over 30 work permits and visas. Her migrant life and extensive CV qualified her as an expert in searching. She consequently joined Google, where she searched for eight more years until she found herself.

“Vulpe” is Latin for “fox”, though Valeria had never seen a fox until she moved to London. She is now a regular at London’s top-rated comedy clubs, a winner or runner-up in multiple stand-up competitions, and recently opened for Ricky Gervais at Wembley Arena.
