Curious about what product managers actually do? Or maybe you’re already in the world of product and want to sharpen your skills? Either way, this interactive session led by experienced product leaders Fay Cooper and Steph Clish is for you.
They will explore what great product management looks like in the real world in both the public and private sector —beyond the buzzwords—and dig into how to be pragmatic and spot (and fix) common pitfalls. After that, you’ll get to choose your own learning adventure with one of two focused breakout sessions:
Breakout Tracks
- Discovery & Validation: Learn practical techniques to keep your work user-centred and problem-focused—so you’re building the right thing, not just building fast.
- Data & Insight: Get hands-on with tools and approaches that help you carry out jobs to be done interviews, and use data to guide your roadmap, uncover opportunities, and shape smarter products.
You’ll leave with:
- A clearer understanding of the role of product management
- A toolkit of practical techniques to use right away
- New ways to think about challenges in discovery, validation, and using data to shape your roadmap
