Fay Cooper & Chris Thompson, two longstanding TDC community members, are passionate practitioners of using digital tools to solve problems for people in the public realm.
Both formerly at DWP, they’re now bringing their skillset to serve as part of Northumberland County Council. While their resources are more limited at a County Council, they’re closer to the customer which means there’s even greater demand to ensure they are solving the right problems and executing strongly.
This workshop will focus on the questions.. – How can we know we’re solving the right problems? – How can we make sure that our solutions are going to make a difference to our users?
As part of their work, they’ve been trialing a new way to do design sprints which are fun, fast and impactful. In the workshop we’ll be looking at a range of challenges (feel free to bring your own) and then discussing the tools and framework to help solve them.
