Matt Grest is leading the creation of the BBC’s new Technology Hub in Newcastle. Previous to the BBC, Matt was best known for establishing the Leeds Tech Hub for Sky in 2015. Sky@LeedsDock has gone onto develop into a huge success nearly doubling in size to 750 employees since its foundation. In Matt’s actual day job he reports directly to the CTO of the BBC, former TDC speaker Matthew Postgate, and is leading the transformation of the BBC’s digital and broadcast products into a fully integrated platform.
